Michelle O's Poll Numbers Fall With Her Husbands

This seems odd...why would Michelle Obama's poll numbers fall?

Obama’s favorability rating has been in flux, from a low of 48 percent in June 2008 to a peak of 72 percent last March to a slide to 61 percent in a recent Gallup Poll.

That 11-point stumble – some might call it a tumble – seems at odds with the focus of a White House publicity team that is carefully crafting her image and building a decidedly current, wholesome, upbeat brand. But while Obama has broadened the reach of her office, White House observers say that the role and projects she has embraced so far are seen by some as disappointingly traditional.

“If you asked most people, they would say she defines her job as first lady as taking care of her family, and maybe that’s what the White House wants — what she wants,” said first lady historian Betty Boyd Caroli. “A lot of people appreciate that, but some people wanted more, and maybe that’s why the numbers are dipping.”

Yeah...I think she should take a more political role in the admininistration. That should really help her poll numbers.

I still don't see why Michelle's poll numbers would decrease with her husbands. No matter how low Bush's numbers got, Laura always enjoyed high favorable polls.

In her speech in Copenhagen today, First Lady Michelle Obama said her trip to Denmark, along with the travel of her "dear friend" and "chit-chat buddy" Oprah Winfrey, as well as tomorrow's visit by President Obama, is a "sacrifice" on behalf of the children of Chicago and the United States. "As much of a sacrifice as people say this is for me or Oprah or the president to come for these few days," the first lady told a crowd of people involved in the Chicago project, "so many of you in this room have been working for years to bring this bid home."

Ho's on the Campaign Trail

Apparently, President Obama was a hot little number on the campaign trail. Women would grind up next to him, put their phone number in his pocket and get a squeeze of his tushy. Mrs. O wasn't having any of it.

MICHELLE Obama gave her husband the silent treatment at one point in his campaign for president because so many women "pushed their bodies up against his, slipped phone numbers into his pockets" and whispered lewd suggestions in his ear, a new book out today claims.

In "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage" (William Morrow), Christopher Andersen reports, "On more than one occasion, Barack tried not to look startled when some random woman in the crowd would grasp him firmly by the derriere -- and sometimes try to hold on."

After an appearance in Peoria, Ill., the future president slid into the back of his SUV, and allegedly said, "Jesus, I wish they'd stop grabbing my ass."

Michelle O has 22 staff?

Michelle Obama has 22 people on her payroll. Really? It takes 22 people to help her plant a garden? Hmmm...who knew?

The Bush administration in 2002 considered sending U.S. troops into a Buffalo, N.Y., suburb to arrest a group of terror suspects in what would have been a nearly unprecedented use of military power, The New York Times reported.

Vice President Dick Cheney and several other Bush advisers at the time strongly urged that the military be used to apprehend men who were suspected of plotting with al Qaida, who later became known as the Lackawanna Six, the Times reported on its Web site Friday night. It cited former administration officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The proposal advanced to at least one-high level administration meeting, before President George W. Bush decided against it.

So Bush was going to use the military to arrest terror suspects but decided against it. Am I supposed to be outraged by this? There's no there, there.

The MSM told us for years that Bush was an idiot who made decisions from his gut. But from this report, it sounds like Bush considered all his options before making a decision. Hmm...Bush is looking more and more like a leader while Obama thrashes about.

I hope Obama continues to screw up just so we can hear more about super-secret stuff Bush didn't do.

Fired IG has filed a lawsuit

The Inspector General that Obama fired, even though the law requires he give 30 days notice to Congress, says he is suing to protect future IG's. I'm sure the fact that Obama ignored the law when he fired Gerald Walpin guarantees us he will ignore the law in the future...lawsuit or not.

Mr. Walpin was investigating the Obama's friend, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson when he was fired.

With a headline such as, Queen Michelle the First, something tells me Jeremy Mayer isn't too fond of the idea of Mrs. O taken a larger roll in policy development.

Journalist are morons

This is the stupidest thing I have read in awhile. Some journalist with the Concord Monitor has uncovered a conspiracy theory. A scary, watch out the bogeyman is gonna get you, true blue conspiracy theory.

The conspiracy is about Michelle Obama's garden. Apparently, to these theorist in the know (two in total), the vegatables are fake..and how does Susan Reimer know about this conspiracy? She read it in the comments section of her Gardening blog. Seriously, a couple of people on her blog wrote something about the vegetables being fake so she sets out to look for other "examples" of Republicans being mean to Mrs. O.

My favorite quote from the article?

My own nephew (he is a Republican) sent me a text message saying, "There's no way those are the same plants. If they are, then I'm moving to D.C. and starting a farm and raking it in."

Really? Your Republican nephew believes it? Well, that settles it. All Republicans must believe the garden is a fake...because I am sure your nephew is a clear representative of all Republicans.

Ms. Reimer states in her article that this conspiracy was borne in the feeds from the Drudge Report and "Obama watch- dog" blogs. She didn't list the Obama watch-dog blogs, but I did look for the conspiracy theory in the Drudge Report...and the only thing I could find alluding to the Drudge Report and the garden being fake was a post on HER blog.

Ms Reimer states on her blog, "Matt Drudge, editor of the blog Drudge Report, has posted a pair of before-and-after photos of the White House kitchen garden which seem to suggest that the garden couldn't have grown so much between April and June."

I didn't infer the same thing she did. I don't see this as criticism of Michelle O's garden. I see it as a compliment of her gardening skills. But...decide for yourself. Besides, wasn't the harvest supposed to be this month?
