This is just rich...the ladies of The View have redefined rape. Whoopi Goldberg says that Polanski didn't commit rape-rape, it was statutory rape. And Melissa Gilbert says that the girl's mom was in the building, so I guess it doesn't count? Only thing is, that is not true. You can read the girl's testimony and she clearly states Polanski drugged her, raped her and committed sodomy.
They also said he served his sentence, which is not true...that is why he was arrested.
