Inform On Me

I have added a place for you to inform the White House if I am doing "fishy" stuff. It's right over there at the top ----->

Greenpeace fails 4th grade science

Greenpeace has a new piece of propaganda to bring awareness of Global Warming and it's horrible effects.

Anyone who passed 4th grade science knows that when ice melts, the level of water does not change. It's the Archimedes Principle.

Go ahead...give it a try.

Should I report this?

My neighbor just came over and told me that the ObamaCare plan will require you to take a coughed up fur ball from your cat, mix it with 2pts vinegar and 3pts salt, boil for 13.5 minutes and drink it to rid yourself of cancer....because not enough chemo to go around. They will send a witch doctor to your house, paid for by the government, to "consult with you" on your witches brew.

I don't know about this...maybe I should report this information to flag@whitehouse.gov in case it's not true. Maybe the Feds will show up and I can get them to cart my neighbor away. She comes over all the time with pies, and fresh tomatoes, and cookies, and advice, and stuff. She needs to go....she's really bringing the quality of the neighborhood down.

Listen Up, Dummies...

Here is a video from Linda Douglass (posted below), who works for the Obama Administration, explaining that all those things that Obama said in the past about eliminating health care options and moving to a single payer health care system are all lies. Let's start at the beginning...

She says, (while reading from Drudge) "Uncovered video: Obama explains how his health care plan will eliminate private insurance. Nothing could be further from the truth...people are just trying to scare you by taking sentences and phrases out of context...."

However, if you listen to the video, at a meeting with SEIU Health Care Forum on 3/24/07, Obama clearly states, "My commitment is to make sure we have universal health care for all Americans by the end of my first term". I would be interested to know how that was taken out of context? Does Obama have a commitment to make universal health care the standard in America or not?

Obama then goes on to discuss how he will not be able to eliminate private coverage immediately..that it will take a decade, 15 or 20 years. Why would he be discussing eliminating private coverage at all if that was not is ultimate goal? How was this statement taken out of context?

In 2003 at the AFL-CIO Women's Forum, Obama stated he was a proponent of a single payer health care system. How is this cherry-picking his words or better yet...what was the context around what he said? Is there an unedit version of that video that we can watch to see how his words were taken out of context?

Ms. Douglas then goes on to show clips of what President Obama "has really said" and shows us clips over the last few months.

Ms. Douglas is hoping you are stupid enough to believe that when Obama was speaking to a friendly crowd that agrees with his politics, he was able to disclose his true intentions. Now that he is challenged with selling a program most Americans want...he is using his Trojan horse.

But you can watch both video's and make up your own mind...

UPDATE: Breibert has lobbed one back. He has posted the unedited version of the video. Check it out and decide for yourself.

White House Isn't Concerned by Health-Care Protests

Sure they're not...

Briefing reporters Tuesday, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs suggested that the opposition is being organized by a small group seeking to create "manufactured anger."

"I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the AstroTurf nature of so-called grass-roots lobbying," Mr. Gibbs said.

In recent days, administration officials and Democratic members of Congress have been shouted down by angry protesters at town halls in Pennsylvania and Texas, an uproar that could grow when lawmakers return to their districts for the August recess.

Riiiiiiiight. Astroturfers...hee hee. It will be interesting to see how things turn out when everyone returns in September.

Lies, Lies, Lies yeah...

they're gonna gettcha! Lies, lies, lies yeah...they won't forgetcha.

Michelle O has 22 staff?

Michelle Obama has 22 people on her payroll. Really? It takes 22 people to help her plant a garden? Hmmm...who knew?

How does this stack up to other First Ladies?

Marines ban Social Media

The Marines have banned social media, such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. due to concerns of leaking information to adversaries.

Not sure if this means they can't access sites from the military's network or if they are banned from the sites even from their own computer. Banning the sites from the military network would make sense...but not sure about a ban on personal computers.

Hell is reserved for people like this...

There's a special place in hell for people like Ryan O'Neal. Did you hear about how he hasn't seen his daughter Tatum for years and at Farrah's funeral, he was hitting on her?
1. Ewwww, that is gross!
2. Really? At your wife's funeral? Hitting on another woman? At your wife's funeral?
3. Ewwww, your daughter?

Yeah...it's a huge mystery why all his kids turned out to be so emotionally unstable.

Kid charged in bleach attack over Harry Potter movie

A kid has been charged in throwing bleach on a woman, causing burns and possible damage to her eyesight, after a group of teens followed her and her family to a restaurant after a movie. The woman had been in a movie theater watching Harry Potter and asked a group of teenagers to be quiet.

Boy they got their revenge, didn't they?

Interesting twist in the "Palin's are getting a divorce" drama

Over the weekend, the blogosphere was abuzz about the Palin's getting a divorce. It was first reported by some CNN stringer at Alaskareports.com. He got his information from some guy named Gryphen at theimmoralminority.com.

The Palin's have denied the rumors and their attorney sent a cease and desist type letter to Gryphen. Well, the CNN stringer blocked the name of the person at theimmoralminority.com, but forgot to block out part of a sentence that reveled this guy works for an elementary school as a kindergarten assistant (which should just warm your heart that these are the people teaching your kids).

It has since been revealed the kindergarden teacher/anti-Palin blogger is Jesse Griffin.

RS McCain has a ton of stuff over at his place stuff with all the exciting details.

I hope the Palin's do sue. I wouldn't even ask for a correction on stuff, I would just start handing out lawsuits like they handed out ethics complaints.

Funny Tweet

This is a funny tweet from badbanana:
Obama's birthday is Tuesday. Let's all chip in and get him a new vice president.

Art is to be celebrated, right?

New posters popping up all over LA.
Something tells me we are going to be told this is not worth celebrating and win an award from Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, like this fine piece of art.

Update: Remember when "President is the Joker" was ok?

Future of American Health Care

This is what American Health Care will look like if ObamaCare is able to pass.
