Media's lesson on racism

According to the media, Obama as witch doctor is unacceptable:
Rice as witch doctor is acceptable:
I couldn't find a link from any media outlet claiming that portraying Dr. Rice as a witch doctor was racist, but found 56 links declaring Obama as a witch doctor is an outrage.

So is portraying a black person as a witch doctor racist or not?
