Boston Police are racist Mofo's

Just as I suspected...the Harvard professor who was arrested in his home is claiming it is due to racism.

Here is the Boston Globe article outlining the professor's side of the story.

Here is a copy of the police report.

Draw your own conclusions.

I personally don't believe this is a case of racism, but I also don't believe the cop should have arrested him. He established the guy was the resident of the home, so he should have just left. So what if he is yelling at him. Comes with the territory...deal with it. As for the claim of racism...incidents like this are the reason people pay less and less attention when real racism occurs.

Yep. From 30 years of being a street cop, I can tell you that 'refined' people like the good professor can be real jerks. We used to call it 'being an asshole in public'. You can't be charged with that offense, but there are cops who a dumb enough to try and arrest someone for it. I've instructed trainees over the years that when you run into people like this, it's just best to smile and walk away. And the best part is, this really pisses them off because they're not getting what they want.

The Boston Police Patrolmen's Association is set to defend a Boston police officer for allegedly using a racial slur to describe black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. Keep Boston white!
